Tuesday through Saturday, at our Studio in Lincoln Square
Private Class Information
HOW DOES IT WORK? Private classes can currently be booked Tuesday thru Saturday afternoons, from 1 – 3 pm (with doors opening at 12:30 pm) and evenings from 7 – 9 pm (with doors opening at 6:30 pm). We encourage people to arrive up to 30 minutes early (but not earlier) to allow time for relaxed socializing, and particularly if you will be bringing food.
The Art Party Studio will provide all the paint supplies, including acrylic paint, brushes, easels, aprons and canvases, music and the artist’s instruction.
HOW LONG does the event last, and HOW MUCH is it, and how many people? Our private classes typically last around 2 hours and cost $35 per person. We have a 15 person minimum for our daytime events, and a 20 person minimum for evening events. Currently, we can seat up to 36 at the studio. (More by arrangement)
If you have less than the minimum number, our suggestion would be to have your group register for one of our regularly scheduled classes. We often have groups come to our regular classes and have just as much, if not more, fun!
Do I get to CHOOSE THE PAINTING? Yes. After we receive your completed contract and the deposit, you may select the painting of your choice from our collection.
What do I need to PROVIDE AS THE HOST? For a class in the studio, you will bring any appetizers and beverages you would like, or your guests can bring their own. We’ll supply plastic cups, bottle openers, napkins, and ice.
When do you need the FINAL payment? There is a minimum, so if you reserve for 15 or more and only 14 show up to paint, you will be responsible for payment for 15 guests. Payment in full for the minimum number of attendees is due no less than 2 weeks prior to your event.
How do I HANDLE PAYMENT for a private event? A deposit of $150 is due at the time you reserve the date and time for your event. We will send an invoice for this via Paypal that can be paid online with any credit or debit card. The balance of payment for the minimum number of attendees is to be completed, in full, no less than 2 weeks prior to the event. It is possible to add additional painters, with payment, up to 72 hours prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy We require a notice IN WRITING, either by email or brought to the Studio. Your deposit of $150, and any other fees paid, will be forfeited IF YOU CANCEL 2 WEEKS OR LESS prior to your event. Please, no exceptions.
